We Believe Every Dog is Different

We are happy to welcome any dog no matter how big or small. Every dog is different and as such, we have different styles of kennel block to suit the temperaments and exercise requirements of dogs of all life stages.

We also have a block specially suited for the more nervous dog, or the oldies that prefer to spend their time sleeping.

All of our kennel blocks are heated.

Our secure play areas allow the more energetic dogs to run around off-lead, play with the toys or have a game of fetch with a member of staff.

For those that prefer slower-paced, sniffy, off-lead time, we have a sensory garden for scent games and mental enrichment.

Kennels With Attached Runs

These kennels give your dog the choice to snuggle up in their interior bed, or relax in their personal outdoor run. These blocks provide a refuge from the fast-paced kennels day, so are suited to the more nervous dog, oldies or puppies.
As part of these blocks, we have a number of large family kennels, for two or more dogs from the same family to share - the number of dogs that can share a kennel is dependent on the size of the dogs.

We have two different types of kennels with runs attached, please contact us for more information on which would be best suited for your dog.

Indoor Kennel With Play Area Access

These types of kennels are best suited for the more energetic dog who likes to spend their day running around to burn off all their energy (if that is even possible!). Comprised of a comfortable, individual indoor kennel, dogs in this block have 4 exercise sessions a day, made up of off-lead play in our all-weather play areas and a walk. Play time is on an individual basis with staff members, making this block ideal for pups that love 1-1 attention! We have a limited number of family sized kennels in this block,

for two or more dogs from the same family to share - the number of dogs that can share a kennel is dependent on the size of the dogs.

Please note- these types of kennels are not suited for all dogs, if your dog is aggressive or nervous of new people or other dogs, we would recommend that they stay in one of our kennels with attached runs. We like to ensure all of our boarders are as happy and relaxed for their stay as possible!
If your dog hasn't stayed with us before, we will arrange a free of charge trial day for this block, we can not accept any new dogs into this block without a trial day, as we want to ensure your dog will be happy and settled in the block, due to there being a lot of movement and facing other dogs.

What is included in your stay

Food

We like to keep our guests’ diet as close to what they eat at home, including the type of food and frequency of meals. As standard our guests are fed twice daily, unless you specify otherwise.

We stock good quality, complete dry foods for appropriate lifestages, and a variety of quality grain-free tinned meat if that is what your dog prefers!

We also routinely keep a hypoallergenic kibble in stock.

For dogs that have food allergies/intolerances, dogs on prescription diets and young puppies, we recommend that you bring their usual food with you.

If you wish to bring your own food, that is fine too! We just ask that it comes in a labelled container with a note of the weight required per meal and/or a measuring cup

Medication

If your pet has a health issue that requires daily medication, never fear! Please inform us of your pet’s health requirements when you enquire and our friendly team will be happy to discuss how we can best accommodate your regime.*

*some restrictions may apply.

Walks

All dogs get a free form of exercise, either an on-lead walk per day or our play area’s or garden. We are very lucky to be surrounded by beautiful countryside, allowing for lots of sniffy enrichment.

We prefer to walk dogs on the equipment they are used to at home, so please bring their usual harness or halti with you. We do keep a small stock of spare harnesses, if required.

For the safety of the staff and your dog, they do have to be lead trained to enable us to walk them off site. If your dog is very strong/pulls excessively or is extremely reactive, we will use their free exercise time as off-lead play in our enclosed play areas instead.

We also offer extra exercise sessions and adventure walks!  click to find out more!

*If you do not wish for your dog to be walked whilst in our care please inform a member of staff on drop off.

Home Comforts

Toys! Treats! Cosy Beds!

We have a big stock of toys of all shapes, sizes and varieties; from balls to tugs, soft bears to tough chew toys, we have something for everyone! Let us know your favourites at check in. You are welcome to bring favourite toys from home too*. We also have a number of enrichment toys, such as Kongs and puzzle games, to keep smart pups entertained.

We like to give our boarders tasty treats whilst staying with us, whether to reward good behaviour or just to spoil them, we keep a variety of treats and chews in stock. If your dog is on a diet or easily suffers from an upset tummy, please inform the staff when dropping your dog off, so we know not to give them any.

We have plenty of soft, fleecy bedding to give your dog a cozy place to curl up in. All our kennels contain a size appropriate plastic bed, to insulate bedding from the floor, filled with cozy blankets to snuggle in. For older dogs we also have lots of pads and cushions for old bones to relax on.

Food and water bowls are provided, we even have slow feeder bowls and feed stands for those that need them!

It goes without saying: fuss and cuddles are on tap!

Please see our Terms of Service page for our requirements for a dog to stay with us

If you are worried about how well your dog will take to going into kennels for the first time, we offer a trial day free of charge to give you peace of mind!
